When I became pregnant with my first child, I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to welcome my little bundle of joy, and I couldn't wait to SHOP for my little bundle of joy. I am a Shopper- shopping is like a recreational sport to me, and I take my buying decisions very seriously. I consult books and consumer reports, I research online, I poll friends and strangers, I ponder, I research some more. And no decision was more painstaking than choosing a stroller.
I had some general ideals for my "perfect" stroller, and it was time to shop. I started by looking at strollers online and comparing their specifications. I found the information in bits and pieces- some on this website, some on that website, and hmmm none of them mention how much this stroller weighs… before I know it, I'm toggling through twelve open windows on my desktop trying to compare the specs of three different strollers. And my pregnant brain is confused and tired! So I created a little spreadsheet for myself that was a compilation of all the specs that were important to me. But yet there was another piece missing: opinions. Before I know it, another twelve windows are open on my desktop again- this time, I'm reading reviews from people that own these strollers. Some are relevant to me and some are not, and my pregnant brain is again trying to weigh more information than it can handle. And I have not yet even begun to shop for the best prices!
And so Stroller Source was born. No, it isn't what we named our first child! After the aforementioned experience and an even more difficult search for a double stroller (don't even get me started), I decided there had to be a better way. Built and designed out of my own frustrations, Stroller Source is the ultimate resource for Mothers (and Fathers!) researching and buying strollers on the web. Covering as many stroller models as possible, it offers a thorough overview of each stroller's specifications and capabilities, and well as innovative tools for comparing selected stroller models. Users also have the opportunity to review and rate strollers models, and share their personal experience. Our mission is to help parents make the most informed decision possible when making their stroller purchase.
